Storyline
TAGLINES PLOT SUMMARY
Film star Ving Rhames reprises the title role in this follow up to 2005's ANIMAL. Years after being shot by his eldest son Darius (previously played by Terrence Howard) and taking the fall for his crimes, former gangster James "Animal" Allen (Ving Rhames) serves a life sentence at Folsom Prison. When a riot breaks out between the Blacks and Mexicans, Animal is transferred to Susanville Prison. While serving his time, Animal learns that his son, James Jr.(K.C. Collins), is framed for murder and the one responsible for calling the shots is on the inside. He is blackmailed and forced to return to his dark past as a fighter in order to save his son. On the outside, Darius (played by Vicellous Reon Shannon), now a reformed man, maintains his relationship with his father and does everything in his power with the help of his lawyer to gather enough evidence to clear James Jr's name.

Horrible Cheeseball Low Budget Made For TV Type Movie
posted on 12 Jul 2008Only question here is if script is worse then acting....first off kid gets "framed" for shooting his friend....arrested at scene a simple gunpowder test would have proved his innocence......but then they'd have no movie so nobody thinks to check if he fired a gun ...hes then charged with murder has no money for a lawyer yet somehow gets bailed out next morning........I guess judge released him personal recognizance on murder?? (has a public defender but has 1 million for bail on murder??).....BUT WAIT it gets worse WAY WORSE........The convict running the jail not only has the DA in his pocket somehow the DA manages to get his girlfriend hired at the public defenders office the NEXT DAY....just in time to make sure she gets appointed that case and ONLY that case.........now realize the acting was just as bad.......Im not lying when I say you could write a better script yourself get your friends to act in it and have a 50 percent chance of making a better movie..........Honestly no joke......Seeing Ving Rhames in this movie was like seeing Jake "the snake" Roberts smoking crack and still wrestling in his 50s...This man was in Pulp Fiction ?? SAD SAD DAY, like the once great Rock N Roll stars who are now fat in there 60s and playing state fairs while trying to pay back the IRS and 3 ex wives .....I watched this movie for free on Starz and STILL felt ripped off....If you want to see the adult version of this movie professional with a budget real actors and everything see Felon with Val Kilmer.

posted on 27 Apr 2008If you already liked Animal 1, than you gotta watch the second movie, but also without seeing the first one this movie is just great !! The Movie is about the big OG Animal who is at prison. (After what happened in the first movie). A lot of fishy business is going on there in cause of the prisons priest and he wants to get Animal involved.Outside of prison his two sons try to live a normal life without a mother and a dad in jail. And than everything goes crazy because of.... I won't tell.This movie is a great action filled and thrilling drama (especially thrilling). You wouldn't expect such grate dialogs and actors and this movie has really a great story. And it's just great to watch Animal beating up others while he's on the other side being a caring father, Vyng Rhames is just the perfect actor for this role.In my opinion one of the best movies of 2007. Just a must-look.

Collins) is arrested to force Animal to fight for a gang leader (Conrad Dunn).While his other son, Darius (Vicellous Reon Shannon) is trying to free his brother, a new attorney (Deborah Valente) is assigned the case. Animal has to cool things off on the outside so he can solve the problem inside.Sure, there are plot holes you can drive a semi through, but it is mindless entertainment with Ving Rhames providing enough excitement to keep you interested.The ending was predictable...and it wasn't.
