Not Movie Gold But, Damn it was Fun!
posted on 22 Aug 2009Geez, some people are rough on movies!! Awful? Think again. Great? No. Was it really meant to be? I don't think so. Its a Direct to DVD release. A Damn good one at that! If you hold it up to some horror classics, it will lose. Now put it next to some other Direct to DVD movies and it will win. It has everything you would want in a "fun" horror movie. Gore, Action, Hot naked ladies, and even some dumb jokes! What else do ya want? Sure the acting and Special FX could have been better but we can't win Every time. Does that really make it "awful"? Hell no. Give this film a little bigger budget and we have a winner. Maybe even better than the remake a couple of years ago. Fans of that one should definitely check this out. It has some back story that wasn't really touched on. So, think about it, its actually a sequel with a reason. More than you can say for a lot of Hollywood Blockbuster sequels... Am I right? Huh? Am I right? For all you haters, why would you watch it in the first place? Did you REALLY think it was going to be the next big thing? Chill out! Every movie doesn't have to be an Academy Award winner. Relax, Enjoy, and have fun...
Really not too bad.
posted on 21 Jul 2009Well, the movie is simplistic and a bit lame but as a genre movie it still manages to be acceptable enough. The movie begins quite poorly and you know from the start on already that this is going to be a very formulaic movie. It's story is just too lame and it perhaps also too desperately tries to attempt to connect the movie with its predecessor "House on Haunted Hill" from 1999. The movies are a bit similar in style but it overall gets a bit annoying how this movie is trying to explain the events which happened in the first movie. It's just too lame all and poorly written. The movie doesn't really have good or likable enough characters in it but at least it's not being a teen-horror flick and most of the actors within the movie already had passed the age of 30. It also doesn't have too impressive actors in it, although it was good to see that they somewhat extended Jeffrey Combs role in this movie this time. He is the only returning actor that also appeared in the first movie. Erik Palladino as the villain was a misfire however. He was overacting and also certainly is lacking in the right looks and attitude to play this kind of character. No, the movie really isn't very original and it borrows from multiple different movies, not even all horror ones. They even threw in a bit of Indiana Jones, which is of course an odd thing to do for an horror movie. Still it also does have some good moments of its own, which still makes this a very well watchable one for the genre fans. It also has quite some gore, although horror-wise the movie never gets too shocking or scary. Despite being a made for video movie, it's still a quite good looking one. They had some money to spend and they spend it well. It's a movie that tends to get better as it heads toward its ending. At first you're thinking that this movie really isn't going to be much good but once you have accepted that the movie doesn't has the most original or clever written story and the best actors involved, you are simply starting to enjoy the movie for what it is. As an genre movie it brings enough entertainment but it also doesn't bring much special really, making "Return to House on Haunted Hill" watchable but certainly not great or really recommendable.5/10
Return To House On Haunted Hill (2006)
posted on 13 Jul 2009OK...The story is about a lady named Ariel(played by Amanda Righetti from Friday the 13th (2008)) who is the sister to Sara Wolfe - the survivor from the first film. Sara commits suicide & the event captures Ariels attention. So Ariel & her boyfriend start investigating the case that lead to her sisters death involving & find out that she was studying the Baphomet, a relic worth millions which is layed in the depths of the House On Haunted Hill. But they get winded up in the middle of a group of criminals who will stop at nothing to find the Baphomet. Because Sara was studying the Baphomet before her suicide, the gang thinks that she might know something & enter the house, dragging the couple along with them.In the house, they bump into a trio of pupils also searching for the relic. The criminals start to dominate the couple & trio yet everything goes red when they split up & one by one they are knocked off by the scary ghosts within the House On Haunted Hill. Now, the story may seem complicated but trust me, it will all make perfect sense once you watch the film. Anyway, once you understand what is going on, you realize that the plot is really simple & could have been put together by a 12 year old. So the plot is bad.Is Return To House On Haunted Hill scary? No. Nor is it smart, original or interesting. The acting has all been performed better millions of times before in film & none of the acting or actors stood out. Really wooden characters. +, the only actor/actress recognizable was Cerina Vincent from Not Another Teen Movie (2001) & Cabin Fever (2002) & she's only a b-grade actress. I did NOT care for a any characters. Also, the script could have also been written by a 12 year old. Not much dialog going on, either...AND the score was non-existent.But the thing that makes Return To House On Haunted Hill another lame horror movie is that it is too unoriginal & heavily clichéd/predictable.Another thing, the 1999 remake of House On Haunted Hill (1959) is better than this one.Well, you have to give this flick some credit for having a good direction & nice FX for a low-budget picture & when you look at the bright side, the movie is entertaining & i was having fun while watching it but keep in mind, while it was entertaining & fun it is not a good movie. Though i don't think that this movie deserves the hate its received......it's not THAT bad.At least we get some good gore. Actually we get some splatter as well. Still not as grisly as number one, though. So i give Return To House On Haunted Hill 2 out of 5 stars.
Time wasted.
posted on 29 Jun 2009I was excited when finally given the chance to catch this. Admittedly we didn't have the DTV version in Australia, so I can't commend on that one, but being a HUGE fan of the original I was excited anyway. Disappointment doesn't even begin to scrape the bottom of the "bad review barrel". If I ever meet the person who green-lit this, who wrote it or who directed, I cannot be held responsible for my actions. I could already feel the migraine of a bad movie setting in from the point where Ariel(?) starts as some ice-queen executive too busy to answer Sara's phone message, and then all of the sudden becomes a vengeance seeking puzzle solving marksman? What the? I know that a straight-to-DVD movie is meant to be taken with a pinch of salt, but instead this movie packed salt into the wound left by hideously unnecessary lesbian ghost scene. Again, painful. A complete departure from logic, plot and any relation to the original, I stuck by my "code" to watch every movie I see to the end, but this was beyond anything I have ever seen (read: painful). All in all, I can definitely say I'm going to have trouble sleeping tonight. And that's not from any "scares" attempted in this movie (or lack thereof), but more for myself wondering where the hell people come from who make a movie like this. Oh yea, Bulgaria...(see end credits for explanation to that one).
you fight like a girl....

Years later, several more people risk their lives in search of a cursed statue of Baphomet, a relic worth millions that will come at the cost of their souls. Now, the terror begins when the doomed Return to House on Haunted Hill....a rather unnecessary sequel turns up almost eight years after the remake, and to be fair it's not all that bad. i'm sure the writers have stolen one of the numerous Indiana Jones part IV scripts for the main story, as the film surrounds an idol that 'contains pure evil' or another precious metal of some sort.as all sequels go, there is a little bit of a connection to the 1999 movie, but it's only mentioned in name. and one of the main flaws of the movie is that it's missing the grandeur production and sets of the first movie. also Rush is sorely missed as he was in my opinion the thing that made the first movie so much fun.but the film does have it's fair share of gore, and even if its not the most scariest film ever made, it's short and gets to the point very quickly.it's worth a rental if you were a fan of the original (1999) version, but don't expect the campy fun of that one.
For Those Who Think They Can Handle a Slaughterhouse of Blood, Gore, and Terror
posted on 01 Jun 2009Eight years have elapsed since Eddie and Sara escaped from The House on Haunted Hill. Sara, as you would expect, has had a few issues dealing with what she saw on The Hill. However, I wouldn't worry too much about her. She is murdered within the first few minutes of the film. Enter her sister, Ariel, who wants to know why her sister died. Of course, discovering why Sara was murdered has to involve a trip back to Dr. Vannacutt's asylum. And then, the supernatural slaughter begins... It has to be said that the film, Return to House on Haunted Hill, is not anywhere near the calibre of the 1999 version. However, I don't think you can fairly compare a horror movie that sported an Oscar winner to a straight-to-DVD shocker. Obviously, the producers of this movie decided early on that they were not going to waste their budget on "big-name" stars. There are only a few recognisable faces. And the only person that reprises his role from the earlier film is Jeffrey (re-animator) Combs. The movie itself is definitely worth a watch. It does not have any pretensions, and I doubt whether it will be on anyone's top-ten horror movie lists. But it has enough thrills and chills to keep viewers interested. The sense of eerie menace that radiated from the House on Haunted Hill in the first instalment is still there. The visual effects seem unbounded and without flaw. And, of course, the exceptional Combs is as spooky as ever. Also, there are more than a few glimpses of naked women (who, to me, seem to be only one carrot-stick away from anorexics), which is a bit annoying. But I am sure the boys, and maybe even some of the girls, in the audience will love that. In short, Return to House on Haunted Hill is a cheap and tacky gore fest. The characters are pretty one-dimensional and the plot is quite basic; however, the special effects are terrifically terrifying. This is not a film to be watched during dinner! The "blood count" is not quite as high as the Saw movies, but it's getting there. So if you like gratuitous female nudity, plenty of carnage, and the odd cameo from a horror legend, Return to House on Haunted Hill is for you!
Absolutely outstanding bad
posted on 22 May 2009Ooouw..K, there are a lot of contemporary movies where the phrase "worst movie i have ever seen" springs to mind. It's just, i have not in a really long time been so confident, that phrase is not short of being adequate when i saw this flick.Let me pick one detail and one detail only - i don't even want to begin and go any further:Apparently all dialog is not recorded on location but ADR (post-synchronised). This has been done so obviously and horribly bad it would make the proverbial Albanian TV-daily-soap producer writhe in agonizing pain. In terms of film production craftsmanship, this movie would fail Albania TVs bottom-line requirements.
horrible horror
posted on 20 May 2009I just wasted almost twenty bucks on this movie. If you want to watch it I'd give it to you so you wouldn't have to do the same. I loved the first (remake) film, but this one shouldn't have been made. The acting was bad, the special effects were even worse and the plot was just plain cheesy. It reminds me of the difference between The Exorcist and The Exorcist 2. If you like the movies that they show late at night on the SciFi channel then you may like it but I found it very difficult to even watch the whole movie. This movie just serves as a reminder that if a movie goes straight to DVD and skips the theatre there is probably good cause. It had a very low budget feel to it. I don't understand why someone would make a sequel to a good movie if they don't have the money to at least equal the original. Bottomline, watch it if you must but avoid it if you can.
Not bad to watch, but failed completely as a horror film.
posted on 16 May 2009I never saw the version before so thats not taken in consideration. This film was alright, actors weren't outstanding but horrible. The graphics and the story line were pretty good imo. But this is supposed to be a horror film? There were many scenes in this film they could have made A LOT scarier. I see a lot of horror films and I don't think the saw movies are scary at all, now this film, was even less scary then any of the saw movies. So if you want to see this movie for the kick of scary moments and the thrill of watching, don't watch it. I don't even know why I watched it until the end, I guess its not that bad to watch.Oh, and what I really got sick of, is the RIPPED OFF Starcraft sound effects. I know they are excellent but to steal them is really stupid and annoying. Anyhow, started with the idea the movie was alright, but at the end of my review I feel like this was a terrible movie. I wouldn't recommend this movie personally but if you are bored and scared easily this film would be good to kill the time.Cheers
In your face
posted on 12 Apr 2009The movie starts alright by creating some tension but then descends into a paint by numbers. There is some good to be said: The acting is fair, the special effects adequate and the cinematography competent. However, the movie disregards one of the main rules of horror in my book: Scares in a haunted house are achieved through subtlety. Mr. García seems to have been involved mainly in special effects before and he shows it with too much pride. While the effects are well done, nothing here happens in the shadows, everything has a spot on it. It's like the director wanted to showcase his handwork but in doing so, he degrades it to mere circus tricks (albeit bloody ones). He's even confident enough to leave the door open for another sequel. Final judgment: Nothing outstanding but not too weak either. I was mildly interested to watch until the end - 5,5/10.
Inferior to it's predecessors, cheese without charm
posted on 10 Apr 2009Blood and guts everywhere... "What is this stuff?" "It appears to be organic."It's direct to video and all the common flaws are present... silly dialog, layers upon layers of clichés, dramatic lines delivered flatly, characters acting like stupid characters in a horror movie rather than like real people and logical inconsistencies in the plot (why would the ghosts direct you to do something and then attack you once you've done it?).Amanda Righetti delivers her lines flatly and was apparently hired as a Jennifer Garner lookalike rather than for her acting ability. Cerina Vincent manages to shine so dreary is the remainder of the cast. Jefferey Combs is given so little to do that anyone capable of fogging a mirror could have performed as admirably. The special effects are good for a direct to video production. Nothing you're going to remember but nothing you'll criticize too harshly. The plot, oh who cares, you aren't really watching this for the plot are you? Garcia is a special effects director and it shows as the film basically moves from one special effects scene to the next at the expense of a coherent storyline. The movie does have some good gore and manages to be mildly entertaining.Apparently the HD-DVD version has an interactive menu system that allows you to choose some actions of the characters. I can't imagine it being anything but a gimmick with little effect on the storyline but here's hoping.Stay through the end credits.
Don't bother
posted on 27 Mar 2009I watched this tonight and was surprised. Surprised that it was even worse than expected. I was hoping simply for some light gory fun and got 81 minutes of boredom. Bad movie. Why? Let me count the ways. Not scary at all. The house was well lit and basically pretty tidy for a haunted old insane asylum. No creepy atmosphere whatsoever.Characters were Hollywood knockoffs that could be deleted and installed into any other goofy Hollywood slasher without missing a beat. In fact, some of the characters were so similar to each other, I could barely tell them apart.Effects. More cheap camera flashes and flashback type crap. The ghosts or whatever they were supposed to be were not particularly gruesome. No building tension. Even the gore effects were the same old phony splatter.Cheapy, not creepy. Terrible, not terrifying. I highly recommend you not waste you 81 minutes or 4 bucks on this one.
Good scary fun!
posted on 21 Mar 2009Direct to DVD sequel to the original 1999 DARK CASTLE remake of the black & white HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL spooker with VINCENT PRICE, has the sister the female survivor of the original being forced against her will to enter the asylum for the criminally insane by a group of money hungry bad guys that want her to help them find a relic buried somewhere in the institution that is worth millions! Once inside the house seals itself off & then the party really begins, as hordes of crazed ghosts & zombies led by the diabolical DR. Vannacutte, starts destroying each & everyone of them one by one with ghastly relish. The only hope the remaining survivors have is to locate the relic & try to destroy it or else join the ranks of the asylums ghostly patients. RETURN TO HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL managed to pull of the difficult feat of creating a sequel that almost comes close to topping the original spook-fest, with plenty of good gory mayhem & violence to help wet the appetites of horror fans who've been bored with the current crop of genre entries. The film has loads of suspense, good acting, great directing & a really spooky set design aided by a few memorable kills & creepy zombie make-up, all the things that seem to be missing from current horror outings. Great fun all he way. This house is definitely worth another visit!***1/2 stars
Return of the Son of the Revenge of the Horror of Straight-to-DVD
posted on 19 Mar 2009Hoo Ha! I've seen some real stinkers in my day, but "Return to House on Haunted Hill" really ratchets up the stink-o-meter to it's limit. This is a new low for straight to DVD movies, no matter that there's some decent CGI and the cinematography/lighting is handled well. There's no need to cover the plot of this sorry junk since other reviewers have done a deft job of that. I just felt compelled to put together a list of the delights in store for those who dare to ignore the many warnings to just leave this corpse-disguised-as-a-movie alone.1. The most atrocious "acting" ever seen. Everyone delivers their lines as if they're ordering at IHOP. One gets the feeling that no one told the "actors" that they weren't doing just a reading. I've seen roadkill less flat than this bunch of Hollywood wannabes.2. The villains: three runnerups from the Jason Statham Transporter lookalike contest. One Asian chick a la "Live Free or Die Hard" who must do Spice Channel work to pay the rent. One Hooters employee (we're told she is a college grad student) who realizes that all the furniture and appliances in one room are floating on the ceiling, yet she walks directly under all of it and gets a refrigerator dropped on her head. One gymrat African-American who has what looks like five pounds of mascara on. One sort of metrosexual "head evil guy" who smirks his way right into a crematory oven without ever losing his communication headset even though he's been tossed around by everyone in this movie.3. The haunted asylum still has the electricity running. It isn't even locked. No one has cleaned up from the first movie. There is a teeny-tiny statue of "Baphomet" hidden deep in the bowels of this ridiculous architecture which is causing all the trouble. This statue resides in what appears to be a room-sized heart, which is never explained other than in two lines of expository dialog: "What is this stuff?" "It appears to be organic!". Riiiight. This teeny-tiny statue is bulletproof, appears to be made of lead, yet floats merrily along once it's dropped into the sewer water. Where does the little trouble-making Baphomet go once it falls out of the sewer pipe? Why does the Victoria's Secret hottie girl-type lead character postulate some mumbo-jumbo that translates as "maybe we shouldn't have let the teeny-tiny statue out of the House!!" My crystal ball tells me that this mistake can only lead to "The Return to the Return of House on Haunted Hill". That pesky lil' Baphomet! You just can't keep a good idol down.4. Once we reach the thrilling end of this tale of terror, all the ghosties, including the lesbian ones, burst into what looks like cornflakes and blow away.5. The heroes (which isn't saying much) are nearly as stupid as the villains. Our main squeeze hottie chick gets out of the house early on, but returns because we "don't leave our friends". Everyone in this movie carries a cell phone, yet no one calls the police. The heroes get the jump on the villains, yet do not tie them up or immobilize them, giving the baddies many opportunities to turn the tables over and over.6. You idly wish that everyone in the house be killed immediately since they are all so stupid. They speak in the modern cinematic tongue, which is mostly dropping the F-bomb and waving guns in a threatening manner. The most grueling and horrific supernatural goings-on cannot stop anyone in this movie from squealing one-liners at every given step.I could go on...but why? I know you want to see this, but don't say you weren't warned!
Some of us LOVE a movie like this...
posted on 15 Mar 2009There a quite a few of us out there that don't just enjoy the really good, really creepy scary movies, but also thoroughly enjoy great 'bad' scary movies like this one. And believe it or not, good 'bad' scary movies are getting harder and harder to come by.And for that reason, this movie was such a real treat. While, yes, they over used their graphics, especially towards the end, they were still amazing for a sequel of a remake. In fact, I would argue that this is one of the best horror sequels I have seen in awhile. While I wasn't ever really scared, this movie entertained me greatly. Some of the characters were real smart-mouths and the acting was actually pretty damn good. No academies, of course, but it was good. You can tell that they actually worked on character development if you watch the special feature "confessions." So, basically, if you are one of us that love bad scary movies, you must see this one. It's great.
Highly impressive sequel effort
posted on 13 Mar 2009"Return to House on Haunted Hill" is every bit as good as it's predecessor.**SPOILERS**After her sister's death, Ariel Wolfe, (Amanda Righetti) finds that Dr. Richard Hammer, (Steven Pacey) has a potential explanation for the events, being connected to an ancient idol that caused the incidents which turned her insane earlier. When her and her friend Paul, (Tom Riley) are abducted by Desmond Niles, (Erik Palladino) and his henchmen, Samuel, (Andrew Pleavin) Norris, (Gil Kolirin) Warren, (Chucky Venice) and Harue, (Calita Rainford) they are taken to Hill House and meet up with the doctor's research team, Kyle, (Andrew Lee Potts) and Michelle, (Cerina Vincent) also there searching for the idol. Realizing that the place's history is true and that the ghosts that haunt the place are determined to keep them from getting the idol as well as escaping, it forces them to work together to accomplish both goals. The Good News: This here was a very good and enjoyable entry that has a lot going for it. One of the best is the film's incredibly powerful atmosphere. The location is exactly what's needed, a decrepit, dust-filled location that shows off plenty of non-use over the years, and the darkened hallways, eerie voices, stone walls and dripping water with the puddles left over make for a location that simply screams for the scares to follow. This is a big plus for the film, which has much more in here but to feature a location that is perfectly suited to the scares that are spread within is what counts. The scares themselves aren't anything to take lightly either, which is a major feature of the film. There's plenty to like, from the creepy and eerie to the atmospheric and the ones just there to give a gory payoff. The creepy and eerie ones, from the lonesome voices in the distance to the banging noises and even the flash-pass-by in the distance is really used nicely in here, making them really suspenseful moments that are used nicely with their location, helping out even more. The atmospheric ones, namely the scene with the ghostly lesbian nurses in the single room or the encounter in the electroshock tank with all the hidden corpses getting involved are just plain eerie and fun, coming as they are with them springing to life as well as the race to get to safety when they come up, knowing they will and then doing so in a nice shock. The best bits, though, are saved for the end, where it's just non-stop scene after another with these encounters coming into play. From the boiler room escapades, that are highlight-worthy on their own, to the shower room brawl and the ghosts taking out the last remaining members in their own little battles, this ending is just pure excitement and enjoyment, giving it a fun conclusion. The last haunting scenes, and the film's best positive, are it's outstanding gore scenes, which are bloodier than expected. We get a stomach ripped out, a scalp peeled off with the brain removed while the victim is still alive, an arm ripped off, a head crushed, another set on fire, a scalpel slicing a face to pieces and the skin falling off, as well as the big one where a body explodes into pieces from being yanked in different directions. It's a great site to behold, and makes for some fun positives in the film as well. The Bad News: This one here didn't really have all that much wrong with it at all. The only real noticeable flaw to this is the fact that it seems really short, in the wrong way. This one is just thoroughly fun and enjoyable, and yet it really doesn't spend a lot of time there playing around with all that it could've. It's just over quickly, in that by the time it starts getting really good, the movie finishes and is over, and it doesn't even last an hour and a half. This one here actually could've had some more good points by throwing in more scenes, or at the least trimming away some of the earlier scenes of her at work which aren't that necessary and do take time away from the rest of the film. It would've offered up more time to indulge in what was a very fun series of scenes at the house, which would've paid off nicely for all involved, or at the very least, put more in around these scenes to beef up it's running time a little more. This is the film's only real noticeable flaw. The Final Verdict: An incredibly enjoyable sequel that doesn't really have all that much wrong with it at all and comes off as being highly entertaining. Really give this one a shot if you're into the genre, liked the original or find the film interesting, though those who are big fans of the genre should still give it a chance.Rated R: Graphic Violence, Graphic Language and Nudity
A big ole bite of a pooh samich!!!
posted on 09 Mar 2009It's rare that I comment on films, but I really feel the need to say something about this pile of trash that has the cheek to, in any way, be associated to the masterpiece that is "House on Haunted Hill".To start with, I watched the first one and loved it ... very creepy setting, atmospheric music supplied by Marilyn Manson, reasonable story line, good acting for the main part, slightly disappointing ending ... but all-in-all a worthy remake to a good horror film.Return to house on haunted hill, well- I finished watching it and I felt like any hope I had left for the horror genre had been sapped from my soul over the hour and a half it took for this film to play out and finally come to an end. It felt like a life time- the plot was non-existent, the characters were awful, the acting was ... words escape me! The special effects were reasonable, but I just can't believe that anyone could, in good conscience, spend an investors money and turn out this heap of garbage. I really wish I hadn't seen it and I would advise anyone, who is a fan of the horror genre, to steer well clear. It's only redeeming quality was it did finish, I just which I'd never started watching it in the first place. You'll notice there's no spoilers in this review- watch the film and it manages to spoil itself plenty! Doesn't need my help.
decent movie
posted on 05 Mar 2009I thought this was a very decent movie and I enjoyed it just as much as the first one besides the sub-plot with the gang who killed sarah's sister. i think that part could have been left out completely. I could not stand the character of desmond, because basically he plays an asshole and makes you hate him. The only thing that I really did not like was that sub-lot of the gang and if they would have left that out, then it would have been much better. I thought they also should have brought back the chamber from the first one where geoffrey rush was held for awhile. That was one of the best parts about the first one. Overall, it had some creepy scenes with nice special affects and I've always been a Jeffrey Combs fan. I also enjoyed the flashbacks, which told you how the ghosts became the way they were. I like that they changed the major plot to that statue and I'd definitely be open for a third installment of the movie.
Lockdown the House of Haunted Hill Once and for all!
posted on 01 Mar 2009Pass it by.Got it from Netflix last night and was really looking forward to it as I loved the remake (and yes I would take the Vincent Price original over either of them any day of the week) Return to house on haunted hill needs to be foreclosed! It comes down to being an uninspired attempt. Yes, an original story is in place. Yes, the acting was okay. Yes, all the CGI shined when it was suppose to . . . and so on and so on but Dudes, where was the heart and soul of the movie? It's been said before but the female lead seemed to sleepwalk through the movie. If my sister had been killed by a man for no reason, and I was in a locked haunted house, and my bros were able to subdue this man and I had a gun. Duhhhh! DO THE MATH. Why didn't she just shoot the bastard when she had the chance? Pretty on the outside, empty on the inside. The Lesbo scene was hot! Oh, and one last thought. Did anyone notice that two of the bad guys looked similar, and that another bad guy and the hero also looked alike? The guy who got pulled a part and the guy who got his brain removed? Bad casting choices. I got confused. To that end, there were no good characters (screenwriter's fault) No Evelyn 'b*tch' Price. No grand gentleman. No Pritcher. They were just TV characters who no flare -- they were just fodder for death. This house is for Sale!

A Sequel To Die For
posted on 24 Aug 2009I couldn't wait for this DVD release and I wish that it would of come out to the theaters like the first one did. I personally think that this one surpassed its predecessor. It had two smoking hot chicks in it, Amanda Righetti(2009's Friday the 13th) and Cerina Vincent(Cabin Fever) and tough as nails Erik Palladino(ER and the Thirst) and Andrew Lee Potts(Red Mist), were among some of the unfortunate victims who are forced to participate in a treasure hunt inside hill house. This movie had some very gruesome and inventive death scenes, thats worth checking out. Horror icon Jeffrey Combs reprises his role as the undead doctor and his group of gut slinging spirits. This time the remaining guests discover that there is something evil at the root of the house and has been responsible for the other two massacres and they have to find it and destroy it before they become victims inside the house on haunted hill. check this out!!
