Storyline
TAGLINES PLOT SUMMARY
TV thriller based on the novel by Joanna Briscoe. When literary reviewer Richard (Adrian Lester) and his long-time girlfriend Lelia (Jodhi May) meet Sylvie Lavigne (Anamaria Marinca) at a party, she comes across as a quiet, barely noticeable woman who is out of her depth in a social situation. However, Richard is soon infatuated by Sylvie's subtle, inexplicable charm. Meanwhile, Lelia finds herself tormented by nightmares and disturbing childhood memories. Dark secrets and infidelities are gradually revealed as Richard and Lelia are drawn into Sylvie's seductive and menacing game.
