DIRECTOR:A beautician in America (Drescher) is mistakenly thought to be an academic teacher by a representative of an Eastern European dictator (Dalton). She is invited to their country on that mistaken belief and is asked to be the tutor of the dictator's children. While there, she tries to Westernize the whole country.

DIRECTOR:When her father enlists to fight for the British in WWI, young Sara Crewe goes to New York to attend the same boarding school her late mother attended. Sara's belief that "every girl's a princess" is tested to the limit, however, when word comes that her father was killed in action and his estate has been seized by the British government.
