An English couple (Joanne Whalley and Adrian Dunbar) who are desperate for children adopt two sisters from Canada whose mother had been murdered. When they get back to England, the elder child (brilliantly played by Hannah Lochner, above, with Whalley) throws tantrums and attacks a boy with a pair of scissors. The adoptive mother, however, is a child psychologist whose therapeutic instincts dovetail perfectly with the demands of a thriller. "What if I take her back to Canada to where it happened," she says. "Maybe it will trigger a memory." Hmm...

So, they have to be found, so that they could be destroyed, but won't be easy.
